About this role
Navlyt is building the compliance and operations platform that helps small charter operators replace spreadsheets with software. We are a small, fully remote team with operators using our platform across North America and Europe. Every line of code we ship ends up in the workflow of a Director of Operations who is also flying the line — we take that seriously.
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join the core product team. You will work across the entire stack: React frontend, Supabase backend, OpenAI integration, and Pinecone vector search. Our codebase is modern and clean, our team is small and non-hierarchical, and your work will ship fast.
What you will do
- Build and maintain features across the full Navlyt platform: compliance tracking, document management, AI gap analysis, charter CRM, and the Navlyt AI
- Design and implement Supabase database schemas, RLS policies, and Edge Functions
- Integrate OpenAI APIs for document parsing, regulatory change classification, and the chat assistant
- Build performant, accessible React frontend pages using Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui
- Own features from design discussion through deployment — we do not have a large coordination layer
- Write clean, well-tested TypeScript and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to technical architecture decisions as the platform scales
What we are looking for
- 3 or more years of professional experience in full-stack web development
- Strong TypeScript and React experience; React App Router preferred
- Experience with Postgres and writing efficient SQL queries
- Familiarity with REST API design and implementation
- Comfortable working in a remote, async-first environment with minimal management overhead
- Strong written communication (we document our work and work asynchronously)
Nice to have
- Experience with Supabase (auth, storage, realtime, edge functions)
- Experience integrating OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM APIs
- Background in aviation, aerospace, or a highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with Pinecone or other vector databases
- Experience with Stripe billing integration
