About this role
Navlyt's most scalable customer acquisition channel is content. When a Director of Operations Googles how to prepare for an FSDO audit at midnight, we should be the first result they click, the most helpful thing they read, and the company they trust enough to trial. Building that presence is this role.
We are looking for a Content Marketing Manager who combines strong writing ability with SEO rigor and aviation domain curiosity. You do not need to be a pilot — but you need to be willing to understand what a Part 135 proficiency check is and why it matters before you write about it.
What you will do
- Own the Navlyt blog: write and publish 2-4 SEO-optimized posts per month targeting compliance, regulatory, and operations keywords
- Grow and manage the monthly compliance newsletter sent to 500+ operator subscribers
- Build Navlyt's presence in aviation communities: PPRuNe, aviation Facebook groups, LinkedIn, Reddit aviation communities
- Own keyword research and content planning: identify the searches operators make and build content that answers them
- Manage the lead magnet program: the Part 135 compliance checklist PDF and future downloadable resources
- Write case studies with successful operators for use in sales and marketing
- Manage the website editorial calendar and coordinate with the design team on visual content
- Track SEO performance via Google Search Console and GA4: rankings, impressions, clicks, trial signups from content
What we are looking for
- 3 or more years of content marketing or SEO content experience with a portfolio of high-ranking posts
- Strong writing ability — can explain complex technical topics clearly to a non-technical audience
- Solid understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and how to structure content for featured snippets
- Self-directed and organized — can manage an editorial calendar independently
Nice to have
- Aviation or aerospace industry knowledge (pilot, aviation background, or deep self-taught familiarity)
- Experience with compliance, legal, regulatory, or B2B technical content
- Experience growing a newsletter from scratch
- Community management experience in professional niche communities
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Ahrefs or Semrush
