About this role
The compliance platform is the heart of Navlyt. It tracks every regulatory requirement applicable to a Part 135 or AOC operator, manages their documents, stores audit evidence, and generates the reports they show to FSDO and CAA inspectors. It is used daily by people whose careers depend on it being accurate.
We are looking for a Product Manager who can hold the regulatory complexity of the aviation domain in their head while shipping clear, intuitive features to operators who are not software people.
What you will do
- Own the product roadmap for Navlyt Compliance: requirements database, document management, gap analysis, evidence tracking, audit reports, and regulatory change monitoring
- Talk to operators weekly — Directors of Operations, Chief Pilots, and compliance consultants — to understand their actual workflows and translate them into product requirements
- Define and prioritize the jurisdiction expansion roadmap: FAA Part 135 today, Transport Canada and EASA coming, CASA and others following
- Write clear, detailed product specs that engineers can build from without ambiguity
- Define success metrics for compliance features: task completion rates, audit report generation, document coverage scores, churn related to compliance gaps
- Work with the AI team to define how LLMs are used in compliance workflows without creating legal liability
- Represent the customer in design and engineering discussions
What we are looking for
- 4 or more years of B2B SaaS product management experience
- Experience shipping compliance, legal, regulatory, or audit software
- Strong ability to synthesize complex domain knowledge into simple, usable product decisions
- Exceptional written communication for async product spec work
- Demonstrated experience managing a product with multiple interconnected modules
Nice to have
- Direct aviation experience: pilot certificate, aviation operations background, or deep familiarity with FAA or EASA regulations
- Experience building AI-powered products in regulated industries
- Experience managing jurisdictional expansion (multi-country regulatory variance)
