About this role
Navlyt is used by Directors of Operations who are also flying the line, compliance coordinators who have never used enterprise software, and Chief Pilots who need to see their crew currency at a glance before a morning briefing. Our product must be dense, clear, and fast — it is a professional tool, not a consumer app.
We are looking for a Product Designer who loves working in complex information-dense B2B interfaces and has strong opinions about how data should be structured on a screen. You will be the sole designer on a small team, which means high ownership and direct product influence.
What you will do
- Design new features across the Navlyt compliance dashboard, Navlyt TripDesk CRM, and Navlyt AI interface
- Maintain and evolve the Navlyt design system (dark theme, Tailwind CSS variables, shadcn/ui components)
- Conduct user research with real charter operators: interviews, usability tests, and workflow shadowing
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and final specs that engineers can build from directly
- Design the public marketing website pages including landing pages, blog layouts, and the careers page
- Work directly with engineers to ensure design quality through implementation
- Contribute to information architecture decisions for new product modules
What we are looking for
- 3 or more years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of complex B2B or data-dense interfaces
- Proficiency with Figma including component libraries and auto-layout
- Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Experience designing for desktop-primary professional tools, not mobile-first consumer apps
- Comfortable working in a small team with significant design autonomy
Nice to have
- Experience with Tailwind CSS and the ability to implement designs directly in code
- Background in aviation, aerospace, or another technical industry
- Experience designing dark-theme enterprise interfaces
- Familiarity with compliance, legal, or regulatory software UX patterns
